KNDWPN Participates in Advancing Inclusive Healthcare in Kitui County

Through our network member Kenya National Network of Women with Disabilities, and with funding support from the Disability Rights Fund (DRF), KNDWPN participated in an initiative aimed at advancing inclusive and accessible healthcare in Kitui County.
The initiative focuses on ensuring that persons with disabilities—particularly women and girls with disabilities—can access healthcare services with dignity, safety, and without discrimination or barriers.
As part of this work, stakeholders are assessing the accessibility of healthcare services and documenting the experiences and challenges faced by persons with disabilities. The evidence generated will help strengthen advocacy for disability-inclusive and gender-responsive health services at the county level.
KNDWPN recognizes that meaningful inclusion requires the active participation of persons with disabilities in identifying barriers and shaping solutions that directly affect their lives.
